torch(flashlight), sunglasses, water bottle, swiss army knife, towel, sleeping bag, toilet
paper and heavy duty plastic bags.

Climbing packing list:
Anorak, fleece, water-proof jacket/pants, gloves, shirts, shorts, trousers,
skirts, emergency foil blanket, thermal underwear, sun hat, balaclava/woolen hat, walking
boots, trainers, socks, gaiters, sunglasses, snow goggles, water bottle,
torch(flashlight), water purification kit*, walking pole, toiletries, sun cream, sun block

First Aid Kit:
Axcetazolamide (Diamox) 250mg tablets, pain killers e.g. paracetamol, antacid
tablets, Antibiotics for diarrhea etc. Anti-malarial tablets, antiseptics, bandages and
plasters |
Photography
Bring all your photographic equipment with you. The general rule of thumb for
film is to estimate the number of rolls you think you will need and double it!
If you will be using large telephoto or zoom lenses, expect to use a lot of 200 to
400 ASA film.
Do not take photographs of anything governmental or military (including post
offices, banks, bridges, etc.) Also use your own judgement when taking photos of local
peoples. Most won't mind at all. Others may request a small payment for the privilege of
photographing them. |
